Proposal Case 003: Turning Reviewer Comments into Acceptance

Not every challenge in research begins at the proposal stage — sometimes, it arrives at the very end.

A doctor from a university hospital in Petaling Jaya reached out when his manuscript had already gone through journal review. The reviewers had raised several statistical and presentation-related comments, and he needed help addressing them effectively and confidently.

We arranged a two-hour Google Meet consultation, working through each reviewer question line by line. Together, we reviewed the analysis, revised the tables, refined the interpretation of results, and ensured that all statistical reasoning was clearly justified.

This focused session was all it took to bridge the final gap. The revised manuscript was resubmitted — and soon after, the paper was accepted for publication.

This case highlights that sometimes, success lies not in re-analysing everything from scratch, but in interpreting and responding to feedback with clarity and precision.
